JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Compliance assistant will be responsible for ensuring that companies and organizations follow the rules, commonly working in a compliance department to monitor everything from financial transactions to product safety standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Understand and keep up to date on all compliance-related regulations, guidelines, and best practices
  • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures
  • Monitor compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as external regulations
  • Investigate potential compliance violations and take appropriate corrective action
  • Maintain compliance records and documentation
  • Interface with regulatory agencies or clients as needed
  • Serve as a resource to other departments on compliance-related matters
  • Perform periodic audits of compliance-related systems and processes
  • Recommend changes to senior management to improve compliance-related functions
  • Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information by protecting company records from unauthorized access
  • Assisting in the development of policies and procedures to ensure that departmental operations are carried out in accordance with laws and regulations

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, law, or related field
  • 1-3 years experience in compliance or regulatory role
  • Excellent research skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to monitor changes in industry, privacy and data protection laws
  • Must be methodical and process-focused
  • Must have effective verbal and listening communication skills
  • Must have effective English written communication skills including the ability to prepare reports, proposals, policies, and procedures
  • Must demonstrate sound work ethics
  • Must be trustworthy with a high level of integrity
  • Must have the adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Must have the flexibility to work any shift as needed
  • Must be willing to work onsite in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga
